Motorola Xoom 2 leaked in redesigned homepage
Images of a Motorola “Xoom 2″ have been leaked in a site redesign of Motorola Mobility which showed up temporarily the other day. PocketNow was quick enough to grab some snaps but was requested by the company to take them down. Of course, that’s hardly a problem on the Internet, and several sites still have the images up.
The image that actually has the label “Xoom 2″ (right at the bottom) shows a tablet that looks identical to the current Xoom, so it may just be a placeholder. The other image also shows a tablet with a different design but then again, could be a placeholder. As is the “Xoom 2″ name.
As far as Motorola tablet rumors go, this Xoom 2 seems like a perfect match for Motorola’s Tegra 3 “Kal-El” tablet that’s rumored for a September release. No word back then on what size the tablet would be but I’m sure it’ll be another 10-incher so it can take “full advantage” (movies, games) of the “big screen”. If not 10-inch, then 7-inch as Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha has mentioned a preference for.
