Dell preparing 10-inch Streak Pro tablet for Android 3.1

Google announced Android 3.1 at Google I/O yesterday with fixes such as native USB hosting, speed improvements and bug fixes all around and it should be rolling out to tablets very soon if not already as with the 3G Xoom on Verizon’s network. Given that, it’s not surprising to see that Dell is testing Android 3.1 on the Dell Streak Pro, though benchmark results found over at GLBenchmark.
The Dell Streak Pro is expected out mid-next month (June) according to slides leaked last month, although we’ve heard nothing official other than the tablet being 10-inch and packing Honeycomb. A few specs are known – it’ll have a 10″ 1280 x 800 display, front and rear cameras, and data-only mobile connectivity.
