Intel launches its platform Oak
That the IDF Beijing, Intel announced that its new platform Oak Trail particularly to tablets and netbooks. In response to Nvidia's Tegra 2, it consists of a 1.5 GHz Z670 Atom processor (45nm) and a SM35 chipset, compatible with Linux platforms (Android, MeeGo ...) or Windows, and a solution for decoding HD video (1080p) in the graphics CPU (GMA 600 @ 400 MHz). It is directed with such low power 3.75 Watts 1 Watt cons running in idle. The Atom processor Z670 will be available for about $ 75. Intel announces the delivery for the month of May about 35 shelves on the platform with the Oak Trail EeePad Slider Asus!
