Apple patent hints at MagSafe adapter for iOS devices
Reports are indicating that Apple devices are poised for some makeover. Just a couple of days back we heard that the next-gen iPhone could have Lytro’s whole field light camera sensor and today we stumbled on a juicy new bit which says that Apple patent suggested use of MagSafe adapter for iOS devices.
This translates into the fact that tripping on your iPhone or iPad while charging will not lead to disasters anymore. Nobody knows how soon this will happen but we must admit that its long over-due. We just hope this technology doesn’t remain limited to future iOS devices alone and that it would be backward compatible too.
