Xperia Play pre-order page live, ships May 25
After the messy launch of the HTC Thunderbolt and the Samsung Droid Charge, Verizon's launch of the Xperia Play looks to be right on track. The pre-order page has gone live, and as announced the pricing is $199.99 with a contract and $449.99 if bought outright. We also see that orders will ship out by May 25, so it looks like you gamer types can have your PlayStation Phone in your hands the same day they arrive in stores.
While it's not the dual-core monster many are waiting for, looking at Dieter's hands-on from Mobile World Congress we see that the gameplay looks butter smooth. We also had a chance to fondle them at Google I/O earlier this month, and they are quite snappy performers. We certainly wouldn't blame you if you picked up one of these beauties.!
