RIM Launches New BlackBerry Bold Smartphones



Just as we suspected that RIM will announce the BlackBerry Bold and as it surfaced on the website for a short time, Research in Motion officially announced today two new BlackBerry Bold smartphones, the 9900 and 9930.
Running BlackBerry OS 7 (ex BlackBerry OS 6.1), the two variants feature a 2.8-inch capacitive touch screen display with VGA (640x480) resolution and 287 dpi pixel density, "ultra-easy" QWERTY keyboard, optical trackpad, 1.2 GHz Processor, 768 MB RAM, 8 GB on-board memory, microSD slot supporting up to 32 GB cards,..
five-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording capability, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi b/g/n, Accelerometer, Magnetometer, Proximity Sensor and 1230 mAh battery.
The 9900 variant is a Tri-Band HSPA+, Quad-Band GSM/EDGE smartphone and the 9930 version is a Dual-Band CDMA/EV-DO Rev. A, Dual-Band HSPA+, Quad-Band GSM/EDGE handset.
