Twitter about to buy TweetDeck?
Twitter is looking to buy TweetDeck for $50 million. That’s according to, people familiar with the matter,” who have spoken to the Wall Street Journal. There’s no word yet on what the deal means for either party.

Whether mobile or PC, applications (also called "clients") is no shortage of Twitter. The best known of these is certainly TweetDeck, originally developed by a single person, Iain Dodsworth, a Briton now joined by a small team that allowed him to extend the application to multiple platforms: PC, iPhone, iPad, Android and Chrome.
TweetDeck, among many competitors, has built its success on the fact that he was one of the first applications to Twitter Twitter external and secondly by having understood quickly that with the Twitter API could offer a customer more "rich"and offering more features than the web version of Twitter very spartan, like the view columns.
According to recent studies showing that users spend the majority of Twitter by external applications, the market share of TweetDeck is 13.1%, ranking it second behind UberSocial.
