Nintendo announces Wii 2
The rumor about the new Wii kept inflating the web in recent days. Nintendo has just confirmed his new baby, the Wii 2 and promises to give more details during its conference E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) taking place from 7 to 9 June 2011 in Los Angeles...
A story that surely will delight fans of the home console that revolutionized the world of video games. Indeed, the Wii has to reach a wider audience by offering a more playful: no players' no-life "stuck on the couch, the Wii is getting players. However, the concept begins to run out and tired its users, the latter being also-tempted to go elsewhere with the arrival of competing systems as KINECTS (Xbox 360) Microsoft. Launched in 2006, Nintendo wants to restart his machine then follow the wrong figures announced it not too long ago: The Japanese company sold a little over 15 million Wii in 2010-2011, against 20.1 million the previous year .
A new way to play
Despite the formalization of the rumor, the Japanese giant did not go into details but just promised "a new way to play." And as often with rumors, news had already leaked. The Wii 2 would therefore gain power by acquiring high-definition (like its rivals PS3 and Xbox 360). However, nothing suggests a 3D compatibility of the machine. The handle is also being studied: one speaks of a handle of a "new type" which would include a touch screen. One way to compete with smartphones that are an ever more consequential in the market for video games.
The Wii 2 (also called Project Cafe) should be sold during the year 2012. Developers already have the console and floor hand on new games.
Have to wait for the beginning of June to know a little about this new project that may take quite a few "players" to breath
