Internet Explorer 9 out March 14
The ads are scrambling these days for large publishers. When they are not updated (Google Chrome 10, IOS 4.3, Firefox 4.0 ...), these are new versions of their products which stars arriving. To think that spring is also conducive to the developers out of their winter den.
So this time it's Microsoft which just announced that the new version to be browser, Internet Explorer 9, will be available in final form next March 15 from 6:00 am French time. The launch will be made on the occasion of the already famous SXSW conference in Austin, Texas (the Woodstock of startups).
The stakes are high for Microsoft, which saw its market share decline inexorably browser to get behind Firefox in some countries, the latter two also feeling the hot breath of Google Chrome slide down on their necks. Internet Explorer 9, including an experimental version is already available for several months (September 2010), promises of power galore including hardware acceleration.
